Booking Questions.
Q. How do I book a date?
A. To hold a date, a Retainer Fee in the amount of 50% of the total package price must be paid. The balance is due two weeks before your wedding date.

Q. How far in advance should I book?
A. Generally, 3 months is a good rule-of-thumb. Sooner for busy weekend dates.
Q. What happens if I cancel my date? Do I get my Retainer back?
A. Sorry, you do not. Retainer Fees are non-refundable.
Payment Questions.
Q. Is my Retainer Fee applied against the total package price?
A. Yes.
Q. What does all inclusive mean? Is there any tax?
A. There is Hawaii State Tax, but we've included this in the the Package Price. The Package Price listed on our Packages page is the total that you pay. All expenses are calculated into this amount to help you with budgeting, with the sole exception of shipping charges (should they be necessary).
We know that it can be difficult to plan a wedding and stay within your budget. Hopefully our pricing can help a little.
Q. When do we pay our balance?
A. The balance is due two week before the wedding date.
Q. Can we change the listed packages?
A. Sure, send along your requirements.
Q. What type of payments do you take?
A. We accept payment via PayPal. After deciding on a date and package, payment instructions will be sent to you via email.
Planning Questions.
Q. On what islands will you shoot weddings? I'm not sure how big Oahu is - will there be a travel fee to my location?
A. We shoot at any location on the Island of Oahu. There are no additional travel fees for any location(s) on the island.
Please note that, if you are getting married on a resort, you should check with them in relation to any restrictions on photography. Some resorts may require that you use their "in house" photographer - we may not be welcome to shoot your wedding. These arrangements are the responsibility of the couple.
Beyond this type of restriction, we assure you that we are very non-intrusive. You probably won't even notice that we're taking pictures!
We do not travel to Maui, sorry!
Q. How long will it take after the wedding to get our pictures back?
A. Post processing takes awhile, as every picture is edited by the photographer. Turnaround time is generally 10 business days.
Q. How do we get our pictures. What about shipping charges?
A. Pictures may be ready before you leave the island to return home. If not, they are carefully packaged and shipped to you. You are responsible for any additional shipping charges.
Other Important Questions.
Q. Will you be the actual photographer that will shoot my wedding?
A. Yes, unless otherwise specified. In cases where you will be working with another photographer, you will clearly be told this immediately after your initial inquiry and will be shown samples of their own work.
Note that we most often shoot with an assistant who takes care of lighting and equipment. This assistant may also shoot when time permits.
Q. Is retouching or other corrections of our photos included in the price?
A. Yes, within reason. We'll do all these corrections before printing your proofs and creating your disc. If you want other things changed in your images (people or objects removed, for example), there may be an additional charge.
Q. How do we order our prints?
A. Your enlargements can be selected from the proof images. You'll be sent login info so that your enlargements can be ordered via the Internet. The enlargements are shipping from the lab directly to you.
Q. How long does it take to have my enlargements delivered. What if I want to order extra pictures?
A. Delivery of enlargements generally takes about 2 to 4 weeks. Additional enlargements can be ordered at any time.
Q. Do you do black and white photography? How about Sepia? Do you offer Selective Colouring? Do you make photo collages?
A. Yes to all.
